PsyD, RN – Guest Faculty, RIHEL Coaching Academy
Dr. Curt Drennen is a licensed psychologist with the CO Office of Emergency Preparedness and Response as the Disaster Behavioral Health and Community Recovery Branch Manager. He has lead the development of CO’s disaster behavioral health system and responded to natural disasters, public health crisis and events of community violence. Curt maintains a clinical practice and teaches at the University of Denver’s International Disaster Psychology program.
In addition, Dr. Drennen maintains a small clinical practice and is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Denver’s MA in International Disaster Psychology program and a guest faculty member for the Regional Institute for Health and Environmental Leadership Coaching Academy.
Curt received his PsyD from the University of Denver in 2001, his BS in Nursing (University of Kansas, 1992) and his BS in Psychology, Chemical Science and Pre Medicine (K- State University, 1989). Curt completed a post doc fellowship in Public Psychology and Program Evaluation from the University of CO in 2002 and is a 2006 graduate of RIHEL. In 2020, Curt became a CO Certified Emergency Manager.
