Erin Harris

Erin Harris is a Senior Evaluator in the Community Health Promotion Division at The Public Health Institute at Denver Health (PHIDH), where she leads a variety of projects addressing key behavioral/public health issues, including mental health, youth substance misuse, tobacco cessation, and other departmental priorities. Since joining PHIDH in 2016, Erin has dedicated her work to empowering communities as experts in their own health through the integration of community-based participatory research (CBPR) methods.

Erin holds an undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology with a minor in Biochemistry from Colorado College in Colorado Springs and earned her Master of Public Health (MPH) with a concentration in Community and Behavioral Health from the Colorado School of Public Health at CU Anschutz. She further expanded her expertise with a certificate in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Drexel University’s Dornsife School of Public Health. In 2023, Erin completed the Advanced Leadership Training Program through RIHEL, further advancing her leadership skills in the public health field.
